"Terraforming For The Kingdom" by Scott J. Norvell |

Terraforming is changing the atmosphere of earth from one that is hostile to the Kingdom of God to one that is hospitable to the Kingdom of God. It is also preparing a person (Exodus 29), place (Ezekiel 39), or thing (Joshua 24:27) to be clean before entering the Presence of God, which is His prerequisite (Psalm 24:3-4). We do this by asking Him to reveal the hidden sins that have given evil the right to manifest with the Light of Jesus (Psalm 90:8, John 8:12).
Next we forgive the person that sinned (John 20:23) with the Blood of Jesus (Hebrews 9:22, Ephesians 1:7), thus putting the sin to death (Colossians 3:5, 1 Peter 2:24) and tearing down the stronghold (2 Corinthians 10:4). We hurl down the accuser with the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:10-11). Finally, we remove the evil with the Authority of Jesus (Luke 10:19). Because the rights of the evil one have been stripped, they are never to return (Mark 9:25). The analogy is of cleaning a bathtub. The first step is to turn on the Light so we can see what we are cleaning. Next we soak the area with Disinfectant to kill the germs and to get the hard, crusty gunk to become moist and unattached to the surface of the tub. Finally, we take our Sponge and easily wipe away the grime, leaving a clean surface. |
